It's very hot here these days, an unrelenting heat with zero chance of rain appearing anywhere on the horizon. This is nothing new. That being said, summer at my house is nearing its end; we are starting to think about backpacks and lunches instead of fun outings. My photo project, for this season, was to push myself as far into color as I could, and what I have shared here in the attached 52 rolls post is one example of that effort. It's been a wonderful journey, marked with glee at not doing all that processing myself, and joy with every lab pickup as I thumb through stacks of lovely little prints. Right now I have 5 more rolls waiting to go in for their transformation.
But I miss black & white. I am starting to long for it, and find my eye shifting back.
